Project Estimator


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee new project procurement and marketing efforts.

  • Review bid plan sets, specifications, addendums, and requests for pricing in preparation for soliciting bids from subcontractors.

  • Prepare and send bid invitations to subcontractors

  • Call, email, and follow up with subcontractors to ensure accurate bids are received.

  • Create preliminary project schedules.

  • Prepare and submit accurate and competitive bid packages.

  • Coordinate with the project manager to hand off newly awarded jobs – includes producing a subcontractor list and preparing for the creation of subcontracts.

  • Various other miscellaneous duties as required.

  • Construction field experience preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or other related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience estimating commercial projects for a General Contractor.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Understand construction scheduling and sequencing.

  • Experience with Google Drive/Microsoft Office products
